Is your tax dependent on the country of origin? For example, are Japanese cars taxed at the same rate?
it seems to me like H.K. Has a totally unfair tax system on their cars anyways
SO, with the new tax system, inexpensive cars would not have changed in price much, like my CLK200 probably went up about $2K USD but cars like SL55's went up from $1.6M to $2M which is a $50,000 USD difference.
Its times like these i wish all cars were based on a standard % of the value like how singapore does, although thier tax is 171% of the retail value.
