BTW come down to the west coast, I bet its a hell of alot different from what your views are about it. Remember assumptions will only lead you to a black eye.

LOL check any of 3 forums to see my cars bud I've been to the west coast, hell- part of my family owns a vineyard in Napa Valley. The west coast is exactly like how I state it- tacky. There isn't even 1 drop of old money out there. If you've been on these forums for a while you'd notice the amount of posts about people out there on the left coast badging their base model cars with AMG and other higher end tags. I don't "hate" working class people, I just dislike alot of their taste because it's very flashy and very over the top (i.e. Maybach's, RR's, Escalades, etc...)

Did I ever doubt you owned any of the cars? All I stated was that you sound all pissy because your mommy and daddy didn't buy you another toy. If you really are a lawyer, get your facts straight, bub. What's the difference between old money and new money? Money is money, no matter how you look at it. I don't know what you been smoking, but not everyone on the west coast is into tacky styles. I could point out a few cars on the west coast that look good no matter what side of the map there on. If you've been on this forum so long, why don't you go take a look at some of the people from the west coast who do have classy rides and maybe you won't look like such a silly rabbit, trick. Don't hate on ones style cus' you might not like it, keep your mouth shut and onesided opinions to yourself. BTW you really think a SLK350 is a chicks car? Why don't you go on the R171 forum and tell that to everyone. I bet you'll get a ton of different oppositions.

To Brabus, this is copied from another post:

A very successful lawyer parked his brand-new S55AMG in front of his office, ready to show it off to his colleagues. As he got out, a truck passed too close and completely tore off the door on the driver's side. The lawyer immediately grabbed his cell phone, dialed 911, and within minutes a policeman pulled up.

Before the officer had a chance to ask any questions, the lawyer started screaming hysterically. His S55AMG, which he had just picked up the day before, was now completely ruined and would never be the same, no matter what the body shop did to it.

When the lawyer finally wound down from his ranting and raving, the officer shook his head in disgust and disbelief. "I can't believe how materialistic you lawyers are," he said. "You are so focused on your possessions that you don't notice anything else."

"How can you say such a thing?" asked the lawyer.

The cop replied, "Don't you know that your left arm is missing from the elbow down? It must have been torn off when the truck hit you."

"My God!" screamed the lawyer. "Where's my Rolex?!."

Looks like you got a lot of friends here on this forum who like you and your snobby attitude! Way to go!

I apologize for this, but these threads are genuinely bizarre. From what I have observed, "old money" is ultimately elitism via seniority, and it is usually a term invoked by those who would rather not admit that there are other affluent people out there. If the owner of this Maybach is capable of driving it, then he can obviously afford it. "Being wealthy" and "having class" are often not complementary attributes. Both class and wealth, after all, are extremely subjective.

I suppose that I am becoming weary of these hostile threads in which the members here effectively criticize and demean each others' exotic cars. Maybe we should all have a little perspective and consider our own good fortune instead. This amount of trolling, I'm afraid, accomplishes very little.

a Few Nice cars.
Does it really matter if its "New Money" or "Old Money"? There has been TONS of "Old Money" people who invest in wrong things and boom...lost everything. So does that mean there no longer "classy"? and then there are "New Money" people who invest there small cash into something that shoots off like a rocket and boom...they have more money then they know what to do with!! does that mean there not "classy"?
"Class" isnt a dollar amount guys..PERIOD."Class" is something you have fromt he start,RICH OR POOR.you cant buy Class or get Class from Money its something you have or you dont.Hugh Hefner(like him)..NO Class been Rich FOREVER.Bill Gates(dont like him)been Rich..last 25years and Classy as they come.New v. Old.doesnt matter.
CLASS is Born in you not something that comes with your "Paycheck"

A gentleman is no longer a gentleman when he boasts. Even new money people know that...

I suggest these two books, available at Brooks Brother's:

How to be a Gentleman
As a Gentleman Would Say

No fkn way partner for 15 years in a law firm will put out so much BS in a forum and argue with sometimes kids half his age. I call BS, these forums are full of it. This "partner" is a mild case of hte BS crowd. Unfortunatly there are gazzzzilions of these clowns here.
Move on and put this BS behind you is hte way to go. THis so called "partners" "views of hte world" easily beats any BS put out in any chat by any ricer on any coast.

I'm sure to someone with Toyota Corolla or Ford 500 your MB and BMW look tacky. I'm sure to someone with Toyota Prius your SUV looks retarded.

You have no idea what is BS or what isn't pal. You call things BS because you don't, in your mind, believe them. Check the other forums if you want to see my cars bud And yes I have been in a law firm for 15 years and I am a partner. You can continue living in denial, I don't think my cars really make people that jealous.

My question to you. Why are you on MBworld in the first place? If you think MB and BMW look tacky. You don't list any car you own in your profile so it leads me to think you have a Toyota Corolla or Ford 500. And about the Pruis? I could care less about the environment- the Denali is a great car for long trips.

Brabus, it seems like you are a full of sh*t. Being a lawyer doesn't necessarily make you write better or sound more mature, but from reviewing your posts you sound more like a 15 year old kid who wants to brag about the cars his mommy and daddy own. Even if you were a lawyer, I would assume you are on the low-end of the totem pole from reading all your posts. Why don't you come back to reality and leave this nonsense behind? BTW, no one said that your cars make people jealous? Where did you get that from? As a lawyer I would think you would be a lot more accurate and precise on what you are saying. Brabus=Bullsh*t

Most people from any background in the upper middle or upper classes for 1, wouldn't upgrade from a 57 to a 62 in the first place (the two really arn't that much different), and secondly this guy has RIMS on it- Ultra tacky- my guess, he either came from a inner city ghetto or some rural poor mining community.
My guess, since we are having fun generalizing, is:

He/She is probably not a Doctor...

He/She could just be a lawyer...

Or he/she has some money left over from the tech boom (call that "new money").

Seems like lot's of disposible income, lawyers usually are very cheap, so who knows? TELL US!

(please take this reply lightly).

WHF do you think you know about the person with Maybach??
THe person who owns Maybach does not know you exist ----I doubt he or anyone here gives a fk what you think aabout wheels on the car. Before posting, understand the situation, dufus.
For some phony who claims that he was not given money by his family but made it himself by being partner in the law firm for 15 years than turn around and say someone has no class because he bought Maybach and wheels for it and therefore must won lottery is retarded. Your speculation on how the money came to the Maybach owner based on hte purchase of Maybach and wheels that one can not see in the picture is nothing more than a juvenile jealousy.
For all we know you are a bicycle massenger with computer access though your local pablic library.
Remember , you are but another clown on this board a la "Lexani" with the logic of a 15y.o.---the sooner you undestand it hte sooner quality of your life MAY improve. Mayback tacky, wheels that are not even visible in hte picture tacky ???
You are no partner, dufus, but a tacky version of a human, no doubt about that.

Wow you really are the king of run-on sentences. Most people know that generally your common Maybach owner is usually some rapper (i.e. 50 cent, Fat Joe, etc...). Now if you think that rapper's and drug dealers are people of class- I don't know what to tell you. I work for Morgan Lewis LLP in Philly- look it up. I've been a partner in the Litigation department for the last 10 years, associate for 5. The assumption that because I came from a wealthy family means that my family gave me all my money is false. My high school and college were paid for and that was it. The quote " For some phony who claims that he was not given money by his family but made it himself by being partner in the law firm for 15 years than turn around and say someone has no class because he bought Maybach and wheels for it and therefore must won lottery is retarded." looks like you are about what? 14-15? Your reasoning and logic are that of about a 2-year old.

Jesus you are full of sh it, now you are a partner for only 10 years??? WHat happend to , I quote ," I'm in my 40's and have worked in a law firm as partner for over 15 years". Where did additional "over 5 years of being a partner" vanished? You Obviously cant remember all hte BS you post here.
By the way I'm a partner in Washington DC office of Patton Boggs LLP in International Business Transactions group--there you have it clown, look it up and I come from fabulously wealthy family that makes you family "blue collar " in comparisson.
Enough of hte BS, clown.

Here however is my favorite quote from your post:
"My mom and dad didn't give me my money... I'm in my 40's and have worked in a law firm as partner for over 15 years. How is a Yukon XL Denali flashy? A X5? Even the S55 or SL65 aren't in the same league as the Maybach you retard."

THere is only one person capable believing that crap-----you.
I guess thats what partners in the law firms do in hte afternoon--argue with kids in hte car forums.

If you were really a Partner in a law firm you would know that you don't become partner as soon as you join... I was an associate for 5 years- I would assume if you really are a partner in your firm you would have held that position for a similar amount of years. Also, Morgan Lewis is a much larger firm than Patton Boggs. You still haven't answered the question. Do you even own a MB? And if not, what are you doing here?

Brabus, your slipping. First you say you were a 'partner' for 15 years and then you go and say that actually you were an associate for 5 and a partner for 10? You then claim you are in your forties, but it seems like you have the argumentative capabilities of a 12 year old. Face it, you are not a lawyer and please stop bs'ng. And NO, you are not from the streets of Compton, idiot.

Also, moron, where did I say that I started as a partner? If you are in your 40's, I could be in my 40's, 50's or 60's-- who fkn knows? Furthermore, dufus, I could have joined Patton Boggs as a partner having been with Jones Day for hte past 7-10-15 years. What would you know deep sh it?? Your conclusions and your inability to pay attention to simple details are mind-boggling. Like I said before you are just another "Lexani" . YOur retarded asamption that somehow your BS is more believable than the next speaks for itself. Go away loser.
