Why doesn't MB badge the Braun GP
I would like to see the Mercedes star or script on the Braun's. I read that MB has the right to do so. Maybe it would be just too depressing for the McLaren boys...

my wife wild, but she loves every minute of it.
I don't think so. Mercedes owns 40% of McLaren, and had options to increase their stake - and chose not to do so. I'm not sure Ross wants to share the name, but there is much open sponsorship space on the Brawns. If they don't get fast again, will anybody will want them?

Hmmm, I thought I saw a Mercedes name and maybe?? (not sure) the tri-star logo in pale silver letters on the nose of one of the Brawns at the Hungaroring last weekend. I was not really paying attention. Hell of a race with our mon Lewis Hamilton winning. BTW: just saw announcement that BMW was leaving F1 at end of year. That is sad news.

FOSA is working to help keep them active. Peter Sauber still owns 20% of the team, so it's not likely to disappear, but to remain "under new ownership." I expect Bob and Nick to stay there, perhaps running again as Sauber.

Checked google images-no MBZ logo or star on the brawns (Bridgestone on the nose)-
not real sad to see BMW leave-Nico and gang havent really been in contention this year-and while the engines have (probably) been in good order-no one else want them when Honda left...

Thanks. There are no MB badges or names on either the Brawn or the Force India cars. Seems McClaren is unique.

Don't have a Mercedes right now...
Earlier in the season Brawn announced that they were talking to Mercedes to strike a deal to have the MB badge in front of the cars but it seems that it didn't go through. I believe that they were asking for a lot of money to do that.
In any case, it seems that McLaren and Ferrari are doing steady improvement and the order of the front runners is going to change based on the latest event.
