V6 spark plug torque specs and recommendations
Does anyone know the V6 (280) spark plug torque specs.
This is my first time changing plugs on a Benz, anything I should watchout for?
And what plugs do you recommend?

28Nm. I would say in the M112 engine, use ONLY the plugs recommended stock (and no substitutes).

Of course I'm a little worried that the original plugs might be difficult to remove after 5-6 years. We will see. I know plenty of people who aren't too fond of 100,000 mile plugs.

In extreme cases of hard-to-remove plugs, you'll want to use lots of liquid penetrant, removing the plugs hot, perhaps using some back-and-forth action with the wrench, or any combination of these techniques.
Ditto on the antisieze.
What've you been driving that you've never worked on aluminum heads? This is unusual nowadays.

The box that your new plugs are in probably specifies tightening the plug a specific amount after the its' gasket contacts the head.

I'm going to buy my plugs this weekend. What do you recommend?
Should I go with what the book says, or I spend the extra money and go with the Iridium plugs (those are the $10 a piece plugs, right)?
Can any gains be had here, other than just having new plugs?

My local store only as the Bosch plat +2.
There is a pep boys around here, but its a pain to get there. I'll give them a call.
Called Pep Boys and all they have is the +2 also...WTF is going on?
Other than Bosch, what do you recommend?

For whatever reasons, my local stores do not carry the OEM plugs...
I'm planning on changing my plugs tomorrow, so I'm looking for other than originial plug recommedations.
Bosch +2, NGK, autolight, Denso, whatever works.
