rough idling on 01 ML320
I have an 01 ML320, with 103K miles, and unfortunately, I dont think the plug have ever been changed. So I am doing that this upcoming weekend, but was wondering if this will cure a rough idle, only while in Drive, not in Neutral. Also I am wondering exactly what tools I will need to change the plugs? I usually just use a spark plug 5/8 socket and thats it. I plan to use SeaFoam as well.

good luck with the plugs if its there first change since new! definatley will not help matters. little tip: if u can put the front on axle stands and remove the wheels then the wheel arch linings the plugs are right behind them! easy!

Do the spark plugs and see where you are at. ML's are notorious for having bad ignition coils/wires. They are also not cheap. Also note I have seen perfectly good non-mb wires/coils turn on a check engine light for a misfire.
