This is the right forum. I think my ride-height resets when I turn off the car. Doesn't yours? Why do you want to drive high all the time anyway?

where i live there are many bumps potholes and in many areas the asphalt is uneven. so to prevent damaging the car's wheels and its underbody area i prefer when not on a highway to raise ther car.

Unless the roads are really bad--I mean like off road bad--you do not have to drive high. Leave your car down for a few weeks and see if you ever high-center or have any other serious problems. I think you will be fine...

If you raise your suspension while driving or even when sitting still, it should go back to normal ride hieght when you reach a certian speed(like highway speeds). I dont remeber the exact speed, but thats really not important.
What is important is why would you really what to ride around with the suspension raised up? I dosen't do anything for comfort nor driveabilty.
It is only good for when your park next to a curb that is to high or you are going up/down a steep incline.

Ride height adjustment will do nothing to safe your wheels, but it will save the under body from large potholes(caused by bottoming out) and other things like mounds of snow and ice.

the suspension is lowered automatically at 75 or 80.

The reason why i want it raised is to stay clear from specific hazards that are commonly found on the streets in Cairo. it could be anything from a rock to a dog. Also potholes and speedbumps that are put overnight could present me with major repair costs.

Thank you
