2004 CLK500 vibrations on a cold start
I do park the car outside in the near freezing weather but it only seems to happen when the car hasn't been driven for a while. I can't tell if it's something wrong with my wheel or something more major but it always disappears after 2mins of driving.
Has this happened to anyone else?
At first I noticed the car had a vibration after a cold start, and would usually last about 2mins then it would disappear. Now it is starting to happen when I'm driving on the freeway for about 10mins, vibrates for a couple minutes then disappears.
I've searched the message board and people have mentioned that it could be a flat spot on my tires, spark plugs may need to be replaced, or the engine has a leak somewhere. I'm not certain that it's the tires because the vibration does happen sometimes when the car is sitting still.
I'm starting to get worried and I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts or opinions on this.
i really do not know why it does it.. but i do hear it.. my ra6ttle sound does not go away.. and its constant on slow speed higher rpm rides
