Alarm beeps on R230?
Anyone know if you can turn on the alarm arm / disarm beeps on an R230?

On my old R129 you could enable them by a key / button / door open combination.

Has anyone worked it out for the R230 yet please?

try running a search on "Norway" option on alarms..

a number of North American MB owners had their alarms switched to norway option to allow the beeping sound.

Actually, it is the Netherlands setting.

There is no way to do it on a C-class without the DAS, so I think it would be required for the SL, too.

Can I get the E55 to beep when the alarm is on and off?

Also, a funny thing happend the other day when I was a Walmart. I press my key to lock the doors. At the same time, 2 Ford 150 trucks (one about 2 spaces down and the other diagonal from my car) beeps. I thought that was odd, so I pressed my key to unlock my doors and the 2 Ford 150s beeped. Anybody ever encounter this situation?
