Used wrong bolt set when replacing spare tire...
As the subject says, my GF called a tow truck driver to replace flat instead of MB roadside assistance. Mistake there already. But the real problem right now is the fact that the tow truck driver used the original bolts instead of the shorter bolts supplied for the spare. I haven't had a chance to bring it in to check yet but I'm just wondering what I can do to remedy this and how much it will cost to fix? Any help would be appreciated

The rear wheel on my S500 coupe is a bit wider than the front and a set of shorter lugs is in the tool kit. I am not sure which wheel you are talking about so I don't know why your spare needed shorter lugs.
On my car, even the longer lugs on the back would put the spare on except they stick out. If you doubt anything, take one out from the front and one from the rear and compare the thread length to see if they are the same. If they're, nothing to worry about.

OUCHY! Never force anything in if it didn't go anymore. The tow company should pay for the damage IMO.
Regarding your GF, I don't know what to say. Yes, she shouldn't driving your car anymore. And you don't want the third time, do you?

So I can't even claim anything against them now. So I will have to pay to fix it.....
