Noise when slowing and turning

I have a 2009 E 350, with 104000 miles. When I slow and turn I hear a chirping type noise, sounds like a fan, front right. I don't think it is the fan, it doesn't happen at speed, or just idling. Only when I slow, and then turn.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Does it make noise when you're sitting still and turning the wheel? If so, that might be indicative of a steering pump problem but, from your description, I'd be more inclined to look at your brake pads first. Perhaps lift the front wheels off the ground and see what happens when you turn it by hand.

Possibly a ball joint is going bad, or the caliper is seized on on that wheel.
