Oh well, it's not as much of a problem as the Toyota MR2 was in Québec and France: MR2 said phonetically in French sounds like "emmerdeux", which means "****ty".
Talk about some names of cars turn out to be all wrong. Latest namechange I've heard of is a new model from Honda. It was initially named Honda Fitta, and Fitta would translated from swedish to enlgish be pu$$y...
Anyone remember a mid-80s Fiat-model called Regatta. Initially this car was named Ragata, wich would translate to something like b.i.t.c.h...

How about the Mitsubishi Pajero (could also be known as a Shogun i think) anyway, translating that from Spanish means ****** or something similar
