China Star Diagnosis C3 - is it worth?
Hello Friends,
I want to buy a diagnostic tool for my MB cars, found in china a nice Star Diagnosis C3 set (SD clone) from OEMScan store. It contains all cables including RS232-USB adapter + soft. I don't need C4 version, C3 will be enough for me.
Is it worth to buy? How about quality of SD clones from china? At the moment want to do a full MB cars diagnostic including both electronic modules and engine.

I assume I won't be able to live without something like this for long if my mechanic and I don't have access to this as we work on the car in the future, would I be correct?

It will be adequate. If you will buy a full set it will have all cable types for even W124 up to W205 (or newer). I bought it with some discount: $255 including shipping, but without customs tax.

I can only choose SLS AMG for example, I don't see AMG GTS on the list. Maybe newer version of Xentry software could do this, mine is from 12/2016. C3 multiplexer should handle it, but I'm not 100% sure.
