Mbtech208 oil dipstick Q on 2003 E500.
Thanks as always,
Randy
P.S.: Your cold Beer still awaits you here in Orlando!!!!!
Good question re: the dipstick, I can't understand why they stopped using these.
MBUSA: I LIKE CHECKING MY OWN OIL, INSPECTING THE COLOR, CLARITY AND CHECKING FOR METALLIC PARTICLES ON THE STICK. PUT THEM BACK IN THE CARS!!!!

p.s. Greg, just bought some sample cigars in Europe, however my "daily" is the H. Upmann corona (Dominican). I do have several boxes of those cigars recently made with pre-embargo tobacco, and actually am pretty surprised how well they've held up. I generally prefer robustos but finding the time to enjoy the whole thing has been fleeting, lately.

For that reason, I may also find it difficult to find the number...it's somewhere in WIS though.

It was about $80 last year. I don't know why I thought it cost so much.
There's also one available from either Matco or Baum, about $40.
I think in all cases, you need the spec sheet from WIS which tells you how many mm of stick is supposed to be dipped, per engine. I will look that up.

P.S.: Have you had a chance to look up what mm length I need to measure for the E500 MY2003?????
