2010 E250 Coupe ESL repair
Hi all.
I have just completed the ESL repair on my E250 by replacing the Motor only after it locked up on me.
I was able to remove the ESL by drilling a 5mm hole into the side of the ESL as per a You Tube Video and manually unlock it.
I removed the 4 pins and opened it up.
Put it back into the Lock position and replaced the $10 Motor.
All worked a treat. Reassembled everything but Zip tied the ESL up under the dash.
Once Bitten.
Everything works perfect except I have a Driver Air Bag light, Park Brake Light and Traction control light on.
Any advice.
I have just disconnected my Batter for overnight.
Cheers, Rob.

Get an ODB2 SCANNER so you can diagnose DTC and reset modules to clear stored faults.

The hand brake light was my fault, I dislodged the micro switch on the foot pedal.
The Traction Control light went away after disconnecting the battery overnight.
