W211 power tailgate retrofit?
Did a search and found nothing on the subject. I have also done a Google search with all results I found dealing with the sedan, not the wagon.
I just want to know if this retrofit is possible, maybe even prewired? We have a 2006 E350 4-MATIC wagon and the one feature we would like is the power tailgate. I have put a lot of time into the car (balance shaft repair, engine reseal, new headlights) and my wife absolutely loves the car! She is a vet and has a mobile acupuncture business and I thought it would be nice to have the power tailgate for when she does in-home euthanasias and needs to load an animal for cremation.
Any info or threads would be great!

Is there a narrative with that picture?

you using WIS?
this seems to be a lot of work. originally i thought this option for your wagon was more than an electronic close haha.
but hey, there's room for a world first here
i thought it would like bring out a platform, but looking at the sedan functionality i think yours is harder with the heavy door and such.

oh it did have that option hey, that's crazy. i thought it may have. i was actually thinking a bit greedier, where it'd give you some kind of ramp xD
WIS is mercedes' stupid big *** program full of PDFs that describes pretty much every official thing you can do to the car.
KONIGSTIGER used his access extensively for me so i could pretty much deck out my W211 with every possible feature, save the keyless entry and parktronic sensors.
i think he was asking about EASY PACK, but i could be wrong. wants to get more in the sheets by adding that snazzy door that sliding floor.
Zaffer: the reciprocation wouldn't commensurate with the effort this would take. just sayin'. the technical feat laying behind the simple function will only have an effect for weeks (guessing, of course).
