Furthermore.... this fault is associated with engine extreme heat known to compromise CPS sensors that leak oil into $10k engine harness.

You can do better than ignore it... ENJOY IT!

There are now many standard issues you may not face with "normal" oiling pressure: clunky startups.

Ask your usual MB service specialist to help you decide what your vehicle needs.

If your question is...
how to turn off "solenoid CEL"?
The answer is investigate installing what's called a "dummy solenoid".
This procedure is used to bypass the failed internal harness.

this is an interesting scan report but is not directly actionable because faults STATUS are left unreported... as far as I can see.

That does not mean you should ignore the solderless STEERING COLUMN MODULE FAULT... unstable transient or hard set?

Have you noticed....
> Does your steering wheel paddle shifters "nearly work sometimes"?
That's courtesy of the SCM.

> Does your car drive "nearly straight" on Hwy or does it stay planted nicely no mater what ?
That's also courtesy of SCM steering angle.

If you understood us correctly : ) you just need to plug a "dummy solenoid" outside the engine to disable the check engine light on 2019+ (including) MBs.

But do we need to check the oil pressure first , in case the solenoids turn on, and do you have a link for that dummy solenoid pls , thank you

Yes do check the pressure first : ) but if pressure is good, you unplug the oil pump solenoid connector, the sensor stays inside the engine. You buy the dummy solenoid, it really is the actual solenoid but we call it the dummy solenoid because it doesn't do anything if plugged in outside the engine. Then you ziptie it so it doesn't move and damage moving components while driving, the car reads the sensor and happy it is there even though it doesn't do anything so the light turns off. Here is the part number, https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...fefddf925.jpeg

@ian2106 OP, I am going to reply to your question here, since my PM box is getting full so I might not be able to receive your reply. Here is the same M264 engine as a facelift W205,, with information that will help you.https://mbworld.org/forums/gle-class...about-itn.html

All good, happy to help, you can buy it at your local dealership or here: https://mbworld.org/forums/w212-amg/877669-oil-pump-solenoids-71.html#post8981405

The fastest route is buying through the dealership though. Third party site might take a month to get here.
thank you bro
You're welcome : )
i found this one on amazon , can i buy it
Looks like a generic product, if it works, it works though, nothing to lose, just make sure it doesn't fry anything
thank u again bro
My pleasure to help
is it easy to install , do you have a clip or picture show location where we can install the dummy solenoids pls
