I hope those links work. Can you please reference where you got your numbers from? It looks like they are 12-18 months old.

The reality is that the R500 is about as valuable as a stack of door stops right now. Dont get me wrong it is WONDERFUL car but asking between 35 and 40k is just out of touch with the markets.
The car is worth about 25-28k MAX as they are going through the auctions at price well below that.
You do have some nice option and low miles but thats more of a reason why it will sell rather than it selling for top dollar. Cars with the AMG sport package and AirMatic (with low miles) have sold for 28k recently. Those cars have 5k more in equipment.
My 2006 Saks 5th Ave R500 stickered for just a hair under 70 grand. They all had the exact same MSRP as they all came in the exact same color with the exact same options. As of today, it's worth about 25K with 30K on the clock.
Sad....so very sad. Wife wants a Range Rover or Cayenne but I just can't pull the trigger with the R losing so much value, so soon.

Sorry to say, you won't fetch anywhere near $30K for the one you are selling now. The market is what reality is, not Edmunds. Good Luck!
At that point its more of a car to just keep and let wear out. I had the sad realization that every car I own is worth nothing in the current market. There is nothing we can do about it!
But as a personal recommendation I would hold out for a car with AirMatic. It makes the car 100% better. I was heart broken when I heard MB had removed the option in 2007 for the NA market.
