FEELER: T12 Sl600 Brabus suede blk/blk
Hi my dad is thinking about selling his 2005 Sl600. Its a 2005 Sl600 full brabus car , I was told the car was done in germany before it came to the U.S . It has a T12 engine package , Brabus carbon splitter and carbon rear diffusor. Brabus exhaust with 6 tips " a lil crazy". 19" brabus wheels and full Brabus interior with suede and carbon throught out. What would you guys pay for it?? thanks

hard to tell as the car is unique and carries the brabus badge which has little value for some, but is very important to others.
i would say that you can start it at 44-45k and see where it goes from there.

check ebay and autotrader. i think you can buy those with 30k miles right now for low forties with some haggle. i gave you 30cents on the dollar for the brabus (but as i said- to some it might be priceless). i assume the brabus package is 10k so if your car is a 42k - it came up to 45k. i might be off though..
as i said- tuner cars are hard to price. general rule is 30 cents on the dollar, but to some it might be worth much more?
my gut feeling is that at 45k your car is a good value.

we didnt do the Brabus package the previous owner had it done in germany before the car came to the U.S the dealer said that the package came out to be around 50k cause the total on the car was 190k and the mercedes msrp was 140k

well he has decided to list it for 60k and would be willing to take 55k , its a lose for himb but he has had it for a year and wants to try out a CLK63 Bs. NOt really sure whats standard on a Sl600 but it has heated / cooled seats , home link system , NAVI , has pretty new PS2's , just had a built in radar system put in to a tune of 2k. any more questions or info PM me thnx

As had been said a few times on these kind of feeler listings the market price is whatever the market is willing to pay. For these high end Benzs (especially for AMG and Brabus line cars) that price is a lot less than most owners, apart from the desparate or the wealthy enough not to care, would like to think.
Unless you need to get rid of the car and it doesn't sound like your father does I'd suggest holding onto it.
I don't know how much an ebay Motors listing is but it might be worth putting it on there with a reserve or what it is worth to you and if someone offers a sensible amount you've got a sale. If not then you've got a good idea on what someone is willing to pay, KBB aside and all that.

no the engine has modifications by Brabus its a T12 package, its not a brabus engine swap. The car has a brabus ecu and tcu with a brabus intake and brabus exhaust. the horse power should be about 575hp and 665 ft/lbs. the car is in PHX arizona.

So the only engine modifications are ECU, TCU, intake, and exhaust, right?
