FS 2003 LET powered C32

Well I found out that I will be getting laid off for atleast 6 months, so I figured I could do without my c32 to help myself out financially. I've owned the car for just over 3 years now. When i purchased the car it had 23,000 miles on it and now it currently has 57,xxx miles on it. Pretty low miles compared to most cars that are 6 years old. As far as performance parts goes, the C32 is equipped with an LET 185mm crank pulley, LET heat exchanger, a very nice "Jerry Tune", Johnson CM30 intercooler pump, K&N air filters and resonator delete. The wheels are also powdercoated gloss black. The car makes 361rwhp and 401rwtq. I will sell the car the way it sits now with all of the mods on it or I can remove all of the mods and return the car to stock. I can take some more pics of the car if someone want them, this was just all of the pics I have on my computer. If you have any questions or need anything just let me know. Thanks Brett

$20,000 as it sits
$18,500 stock

Yes, you could buy a C32 for much cheaper like $13-$15K, but the quality left will be a question. Most car of that rang will end up a big fixing bill soon or latter.

If the car is in a good shape lower like a grand or two will be much more reasonable price.

Good luck with the sale.

Good luck with the sale

if your not interested then why make a comment? its people like that that are causing the resale prices of these cars to go to ****. 6 years ago the car was $55,000 and people are expecting them to go for $12,000? 6 years ago a c230 was around $30,000 and im seeing them sell for 10-12,000. not that AMG are extremely rare but yes they are rare when you compare them to a car that there are millions of them out on the roads. if it doesnt sell then it doesnt sell, oh well i will just hang on to it but im not going to give it away. If you think its expensive then ok hit the back button and look at the next car down the list. explain to me how a car is worth more stock than it is with mods? yea i understand if you have a 2003 C32 with 12 miles on it that still has all of the plastic on the seats and has still had the oil change every year, but a car with 57,xxx miles on it it doesnt matter. so your saying if you take a $20,000 car and dump another $30,000 into it that it is actually worth less than $20,000 with all of the part that are on it? sure it will probably take someone who is looking for a modded c32 to buy it not just someone who has no idea what amg is. also the brakes were replaced last year and i just put a new alternator on it 2 months ago. anything else just let me know. brett

If your car is tastefully modded, the asking price can be higher than stock. I don't know anything about the mods on your car but people with knowledge should. The average price autotrader should reflect the market price. If you haven't, you can also research Ebay as well for the price range.

People on the forum are most likely 1. Low ballers 2. Always on top of the market price 3. Ignorant. From my experience, it's a tougher place to be a car seller on forum. Selling parts is another story.

Most people look for stock cars hence they "value" stock cars higher. Their value might not be on the same scale as your definition of value.

AMGs indeed are rare and it deserves to have a small premium charge even on used ones. However, this market sucks!

Brett, the price is good. If I were to sell I would be asking that and I have higher miles.

If someone is looking for a highly modded C32, then this is a good deal. Car is already dialed in.

Good luck with the sale.

This is a good price especially with the upgrade mods you have done to the car already.... Counting the hours or money spent to have them installed is also price to consider. Try installing the heat exchanger and ic pump yourself or pay someone to do it?

Also, don't even compare a C32 AMG to a C320, C240, C230. Yeah they may look somewhat alike but sure as hell night and day when it comes to performance, and that's with a stock C32. This is a tastefully modded car, if I'm looking for one I will be all over this deal. I only wish I have the LET 185mm pulley on mine, I will be getting that soon.

Anyway, good luck on the sale Brett and hopefully you're job situation gets better soon too.

LET C32 2002
Exclamation

Honestly I hope things get better for you cause our better treated cars deserve to be sold at proper pricing and not what the general public wish to impose as what they consider to be a good price...when people come on here stating so many sold for such a ridiculous low price and expect you to be the same it boils my blood. Its funny cause person commenting isn't even looking to buy Listen if I was in a better situation I would just lend you the dough and you pay it back with time...whatever the case good luck and God bless.

My friend got a 04 CL600 for 34K with extended warranty. 6 Years ago that car was what 120K? But this car is a whole different ballgame. This car is more practical and the price is great. Someone with a passion is going to take good car of his car and I think the owner of this C32 is one of them. The miles are extremely low. GL with the sale

yah...those cars with even bigger motors are losing much more value b/c
a) less people can afford to buy them now with the economic crisis
b) gas is (although cheaper) a biotch for those cars. gas guzzlers to the nth degree.

Good luck on your sale Brett!

Not to anyone on a car MODIFICATION FORUM! You are not in the right group to make these kind of statements, for real. Let me guess, you work at a used car lot??

Exactly, some people dont understand the time or cost it takes to work on these car. I think its a fair price so I guess I will just have to wait and see. Thanks for the good words. Brett

I feel the same way. Victor you are one hell of a guy. Im glad I have friends like you guys up in Chicago. We all need to get together sometime and go out to eat like we did last year or even just have a cookout somewhere. I know your kids are still a little young, but a C32 would make an awesome 1st car

I do have a passion for Mercedes Benz. I worked for them, went to school for them, driven all sorts of Mercedes Benz cars and trucks ranging from the 60's to current production cars and I have owned a C32 that has been an awesome car. Thanks

the price is reasonable for the miles on the car. the c32 i've seen sell for $12k have at least 110k on them or are salvage title. No one wants to buy a used 100k european car.

Comparing the regular C-class to the C32 is kinda like trying to compare a 528i to an M5. Just dumb.
