2006 Mercedes SL55 AMG with 030 Performance Package

2006 Mercedes SL55 AMG with 030 Performance Package
$39,995
Only very few of the SL55s have the 030 Performance Package. The $14,000 price tag for the option might explain why. This Irridium Silver SL55 had a sticker of $147,545.
The car looks and drives like a 20k miles car, very tight, and is extremely powerful. When examining the car you'll easily be able to see that it has received the best care and all scheduled maintenance. The last service was done at Mercedes-Benz just 200 miles ago. The car has no dents or scatches.
A three to five year Bumper-to-Bumper warranty can be purchased for $3,000 to $5,000.
EDIT:
>>>
Clean one owner Southern California car with 77k miles. All services done at Caliber Motors, a Mercedes dealer in Anaheim Hills. And yes, it does look like a 20k miles car.
No accidents, clean title. The car is as clean as can be. "A" Service just done 200 miles ago with new brakes, oil change, and new battery.

Sucks that Chrysler warranty will not give a warranty to a benz with over 60k miles anymore (as of a couple days ago)

Warranty....
Told you that warranty thing was coming down the road, not just Chrysler, but most all of them....and I agree, it might have been a good buy at that number, but it's not ridiculously cheap (especially not at $39.5). . With miles, no warranty, winter, and a red interior, they just get cheap. Would make a fun ride for not a lot of $$ though...Can you believe that 07 SL 55's are $15k more at the MMR numbers?

I love the combo....MILES MEAN ****..only a number
A 2006 SC430 Lexus with same miles is not far off from what he paid .......SO SERIOUSLY....even for what he is asking it is a steal for a Retail buyer who want a badass car and not a ****ing yuppie chariot.....
I HATE RED...But I LOVE THIS CAR.....WOW...the wood inside with the RED and the 030...NICE
WHO needs a warranty.....**** IT...just use an independant...and take care of the car...the more miles you drive the less problems you will see....
77k miles aint **** for all those whiners out there...it is a car not a first date with a *****......and a damn well built one at that........I am a changed man after getting a 126k mile S55....yet I dont know why ...these cars and the craftmanship speak for themselves...I am driving a 126k mile 2004 S55 for as many miles as I can rack up daily...experimenting...this car is LIKE A NEW CAR....Funny we see Toyotas and Lexus's and Nissan's all the time with well over 80k miles...they sell for a reasonable amount ....people buy them....and dont think twice...yet a hand built car with THE BEST of QUALITY materials...20x better then any MASS produced jap import or american car....and we can seem to not believe these cars are capable of 300k miles or more and they are dead after 100k? LOL yeah if you are a whiner and have to have a virgin car ......which there is no such thing once the car leaves the lot
Problem is people assume that if it was expensive new it will be expensive to fix...WRONG...try fixing a LEXUS out of warranty...or a Infiniti.....they are a fraction of the price of our cars...
And again the assumption is that if the car is performance oriented it must not be a car to own with high miles...LOL...maybe a Ferrari...but a performance car is built to drive at higher speeds and accelerate and handle with agility through engineering...and only 5% of the AMG's sold even see their true potential...so in reality these cars arent even broken in until they hit 100k and then the party STARTS....
This S55 I have is getting quicker...shifting harder and just flat out feels like a well built machine it is .....it seems the more miles she gets on her the happier she is......My fiance handed me the Keys to her 1 year old IS-F Lexus I got her at auction and said sell it...I want the S55 to drive to work...she loves it.....oh and I paid less then half for the BENZ that I did for the Lexus so next week the car will be hers for a while....lol

High mileage as SLs go (particularly of this age) but a great colour and interior. Very nice indeed
If I was in the market for a tin top/soft top I'd be interested!
