I have a 1988 Mercedes Benz 300 TE Station Wagon for sale. I bought this car as a non-running vehicle not too long ago with the complete intent to freshen it up and use it as a daily driver - well - I started this process and have been loosing interest the more I look at it. Too many projects as it is -the same story you will find anywhere. The car does Run and Drive and it runs great! The engine is VERY smooth and quiet - and the transmission shifts just as it should. The vehicle has about 254,xxx miles - however it has had the engine replaced around 200,000 miles with a low mileage 90,000 mile engine - which is another reason for why this car runs so great. In addition, the transmission has been recently rebuilt - sometime around 230,000 miles. These two repairs were done by the previous owner at a local shop in Bucks county PA. I have since installed a new Fuel Pump Relay, Coolant Temp Sensor, windshield and wiper, OEM Spark Plugs (gaped to spec) and performed an oil change. Tires are about 60% tread. This is by no means a show car - rather a working car with potential. The clear coat is shot on the paint - the interior is fairly nice - however it has it's faults. There is an aftermarket CD player installed and it does work. Roof Rack present. Sunroof has power - but there is a shear pin which needs repair in order for the roof to open. I am open to Best Reasonable Offers - asking $1500. Any questions do not hesitate to ask. This is a strong running car which just needs a little TLC which I'm just not motivated to complete - will include spare parts. Hydraulic suspension works great with no known problems - holds level while sitting for long periods - leveling system works well. There is a Hitch receiver installed as well, perfect towing vehicle. I will not deliver this vehicle to you - if you are seriously interested in this car - please contact me to see it/drive it in person. Not currently Inspected - vehicle needs a rear control arm (not sure which one - do not have a working lift at the moment) and a Rear muffler. I plan to replace the turn signal stalk - as they do not cancel and the washers do not operate as result. Car is as is - needs a little TLC to be a nice daily driver. All jacking points are SOLID.
e-mail me for contact details.
Car is located in Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 at the moment - I live in Lansdale, PA 19446

Currently a/c does not work - however I did pull a vac. on the system to 15 inches of mercury and it will hold it. It's a R12 system and I do not have any R12 on hand. I would install the R134a Conversion kit and charge it with that if I had the fittings laying around (I don't) and I don't feel like buying the $50 kit for just 2 fittings.
I will bring my camera to work tomorrow and takes some interior photo's - I will post tomorrow night.

Yes - sorry, forgot I had it posted here. SOLD - Went for cheap - Agreed to $1000 - ended up taking $950 to get it gone and paid in full same day. I delievered it too for that price in the rain. It's supposed to get repainted and new wheels and tires. Car is staying local. Thank you.
I hope to one day be back with a Turbo Diesel or a 190 16V Cosworth - one day.
