2006 E55 36k For Sale
I hate to be selling my baby but I might need to part with her because I really need an suv. Wife and I recently had a baby and we are in need of something bigger. This kills me and by far this is the best car I have ever owned, but reality is I need something bigger. Please don't take this as a sign of desperation and make any low ball offers. The car is a 2006 platinum blue E55 with 36k. Clean history, stock, no mods, always serviced at Mercedes. It has brand new Continenental dws all seasons(drove in the snow) and it has a 5 year 100k chrysler warranty on it (max care covers everything except wear and tear items). Asking 37.5K negotiable.

Don't be too surprised if they price it at $30,000

Hey, as the owner of an almost-as-low-mile '06, the more it sells for, the happier I am!
the problem is the color. it is known as the "maxipad" color and is not well received especially when not on a clk350 convertible.
on the money side it is a 29k wholesale car so i would say 32k for it would be a fair price where you can see some action. i would list for 34.9 to differentiate it from the dreamers at over 35k and take it from there... 34k might be possible for the right ****-retentive buyer that will appreciate cleanness over color.

i think you should keep veeeery quiet when it comes to pricing as you tend to set unrealstic expectations with forum sellers...
on a unrelated thought- i rarely buy cars from manheim...
on the subject of warranty- i have factored 50 cents on the dollar for the warranty into my retail pricing. you have to realize that a dealer will tradein this car for 25k if that much...

On a side note, I happen to love this color and for what it is, the e55 is rare, clean and well priced imo. I think alot of sellers will start to get bites with all the tax refund money starting to trickle in over the next couple of months.

for some reason people always associate lux cars with built-in nav although a $100 tomtom is light years ahead of any german nav. as a result no-nav are very hard sellers. ditto for hids.

You do have nav and dynamic seats, so add $500.
If izzy is worth mid-30s, then I think you're about a $28K-$29K car.
BTW, I always start off "not to hijack, but..." when I'm hijacking a thread too.
