FS: 190E 16V Manual

For sale.

1986 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.3 16V Cosworth 8,999 OBO

For those who don't know anything about this car.
1986 and 1987 are the only years Mercedes imported this car to the states, they imported just over 2000 cars within those two years. They came only in this pearl black or smoke silver. There are grey market 16V's out there but everything is in KPH and the motor has higher compression ratio that requires higher octane gas than 91 to run properly. The Car.

136,000 miles
5 Speed manual w/ a dogleg Getrag gearbox
RWD limited slip dif
Leather Recaro Seats front and rear
Power seats and windows
Brand new OEM shift knob (180 dollars)
Extra dash included w/ no cracks
Extra Center console piece included
OEM radio included (not installed, car has no speakers)

Work done to car Since my Purchase

Complete timing chain rebuild (what I can think of off the top of my head)

All five timing chain gears replaced (gears them self retail for over 1,500 dollars)
Waterpump
Belt
Guides
Valve cover gasket
All new hoses

Other work done

New SLS suspension oil and reservoirs
Drained and replaced all fluids
Ignition cables
Spark plugs
Wiper Blade
New sway bar mounts

Interior

All seats are in perfect condition with no tearing
Dash is cracked but and extra is included that is not cracked
New shift knob
Fairly new floor mats
New clutch and brake pedal covers
Steering wheel needs to be sanded down and resprayed
Sun Roof works perfectly
Lap timer is broken

Exterior

Hood has typical rock chips
Paint has fading above driver
Rust spot on front right fender flare
Trunk has faded spot
Front grill has been spray painted black

This car handles very well and is a blast to drive, it has a very distinct sound. Any one looking for a fun car to drive that looks sporty but not over done should consider this model.
This car is also a collectors item and has been chosen by top gear as the next classic.

Vin can be provided on request, I also have bills of all parts and cost replaced on this car.

The dark grey EVO 2 Rims ARE NOT for sale, the car comes with the CLK Light Weight rims which are the one in the first TWO pictures. They weigh 13.7 lb per rim.
ALSO The carbon fibre center console piece is not for sale, OEM wood one will be installed.
