I'm surprised no one's taken a chance with the grey one in Chicago yet. I know the dealer was pretty shady but it's super cheap, all things considered.

Car free at the moment
that car was bought at CarMax auction in IL about 4-6 months ago. I was trying to bid on it. After shipping costs, and a couple of the issues it had, I wasn't willing to win the car. sold for 17K, originally he had it listed for like $27K.. pretty crappy color combo and northern car -probably why it hasn't sold in 6 months. and yes, incredibly shady dealer...
Surprised they can't move it at that price point. Must need a bunch of $$$ put it.

These cars are awesome and so fun-if someone could get that car for $20k and do some of the work him/herself, you'd be good to go. I can't wait for my new E63 biturbo wagon! Also, bump, my car is still for sale! Haha

Arghh
So I was caller #3 on the white 55 Estate in Sarasota. Eric, the salesman, called me and informed me that the GM had pulled the price "Contingent on inspection" and then called me back a few hours later to inform me the price was now $29,995 and that the car was sold.
I then get an email a few days later with this " Hi Tim, I cant believe it but this man flew in to get the car and in preliminary paperwork... his identity came into question. Just bizzare! Anyway you are next on the list. If you are still interested call me immediatly on my cell 570 8xx xxxx.

I was first in line! YIPEEE..... or not.. I asked Eric to please send me the inspection report and detailed photos as they STILL had not posted any. He replied with this some mumbo jumbo about the inspector not wanting to release the report for free and I would need to pay him again to get the car inspected.
Well I passed, seemed too fishy to me.
Today I get another email from him with this: "Hi Tim, yes I still have it. The boss had the car tied up trying to do a deal with a client that was a friend of the owner and I guess they didnt come together. I will sell the car for $25999 if you are still interested.

I have been traveling and had not checked MBWorld like I usually do when these pop up but I am sure glad I trusted my gut and not comfortable feeling that I was getting from this gentleman.
It is a shame that this car has such a mysterious past and is not being represented honestly... oh well, the search continues and will just keep driving my low mileage 55 sedan till the right Estate pops up! And I also learned to always trust the watchdog resource in this thread :-)

Update for mine: lots and lots of interest, but no one quite ready to pull the trigger. I am still driving it, and ended up going through another service. The transmission service was going to be $500, and since a few people have worried about a stock transmission with this much torque, and that many miles, I decided to just go all in and get it upgraded and rebuilt. Has 80 miles on it as of today, and has extra clutch packs like the S65 cars with the V12 twin turbo. New torque converter as well, but at the stock rpm. No valve body modifications to keep it sensible, just the Eurocharged TCU tune.
To be honest, it feels about the same as before...but hey, that should help it move a bit quicker (or, if I have to keep it, it gives me peace of mind).

Is this the wagon I saw at C&C at the Concours of Amelia Island? I was showing my 190E-16V. If so, this car looks even better in person.

As much as I love the AMG wagon, given the premium pricing for decent shape ones(not too many to start with), I've come to conclusion that I'm better off having both an E63 AND a E350/500 wagon(when right one comes along) as combined it's probably still the same price...and I'd love the flexibility of 2 cars

SUPER Clean
Has to have cooled seats and a sun roof
White, Blue, Green, Grey, Black in order of preference
Not a ton of mods. If its beyond pulley, tune, wheels and lowered...Not really interested.
Pride of ownership and clean history.
What I'm looking for:
