Thanks for giving the break down. Would you mind doing the color breakdown of the M157 S212 as well as the R63? I'd really appreciate it!
Any way you can share your source of data? 108 R63s is higher than what MBUSA and the AMG Private Lounge Told us- but I've always believed their numbers were lower than what was really sold.

From my BMW production data research, manufacturers usually claim sales data rather than production data. I believe press cars, pre-production cars, cars for the auto shows are not counted towards sales data, but are usually sold to the public as demo cars later on.

The reason for this confusion is due to the way Mercedes fills out the datacards. Datacards have a separate section for the interior code. For some weird reason, Designo interior is always listed as Black leather in the interior section, but in the options section there is a code for the actual interior color.

Thanks SickFinga for posting this info. Pretty crazy how rare AMG wagons are in general. Based off these numbers, the W211 E63 is about 25% more rare than the E55s lol. And it confirms my intuition that most are black and silver. I'm willing to bet that most AMG wagons are in California as well.
I was very close to buying that sunburst yellow E55 (it was on eBay years ago) but held off because it didn't have 3rd row seating. The custom yellow stitching on black is very nice.

Your car is Designo-Mocha Black on Designo-Sand leather. It is in the spreadsheet under Mocha Black on Black, however I added a footnote that the actual interior is Designo-Sand.

The M157 S212 is still in production, making any data published now, obsolete tomorrow.

Is there a way to find out how many S212 E63 were made in Designo Mystic Brown 052 on Designo Mystic Red Interior 276? I've got EPC at home as well- is there a way I can do this as well with that system?

Hey Sick, thanks for that production info. Good to know that my 07 Black estate was 1 of 4 with the brown interior. We replaced that with an ML63 that is also Black/Brown. Would you happen to have production numbers on the ML? Thanks

Neither am I. And I guess the focus groups at MB as well, they only made 3 of them in this color between the E55 and E63
I am looking for a grey-ish one, definitely no black on black as I am in south FL. There are some black on black for sale, both at dealers and privately, but those are not for me.
