2005 Mercedes Benz Modified W211 E55 AMG
Hi all,
I’m looking for a new home for my 2005 E55 AMG, Black/Black, 79K miles. I love the car very much but own too many cars and have no space to put them. I’m the 3rd owner and have owned the car for the last 9 months, having put only 4K miles on it. The car is not being driven currently so mileage will stay the same.
Overall, the car is in very good condition with absolutely no mechanical issues. As you probably know, maintenance on these cars is not cheap so in an effort to find the most problem-free car possible, I looked at several W211 E55s before buying and researched the platform thoroughly. It helps that this car is not an 03-04 but all the potential problem /recall areas (fuel pump and sending units, air suspension, SBC pump, IC pump, etc.) on this example have been dealt with.
It has roughly 550HP /600 ft/lbs (crank) and is a hoot to drive when you can find the space to open it up (which, living in a pretty urban area, I unfortunately can’t very often). The car is fairly striking and attracts a good amount of attention which could be a good thing or bad thing depending on personal preference.
Car was just detailed today and is ready to go. Considering the condition, mods, and how well sorted this car is, I’m pretty firm on the price of $26,000 + shipping (buyer sets up shipping) for now. Not looking for trades or to part out- will move the car quickly if the right opportunity comes along.
Options / Vitals:
· $26,000 ($89K sticker price without mods) + shipping (buyer sets up shipping)
· 79K miles
· Located in Seattle, WA
· Clean title, no accidents (carfax in hand)
· Always garaged, no snow, never smoked in, no pets, no food
· All service records since 25K miles
· 3rd owner (last owner owned since 25K miles and was an absolute fanatic about upkeep)
· Pano roof (working)
· Dynamic, heated, and cooled front seats (still working!)
· Alcantara headliner
· Navi and 6 disc changer
· Exterior is in very good condition with no dings or dents.
· Interior is in excellent condition with wear only showing on driver’s seat and steering wheel.
· Minor scrape on left rear exterior door trim (see picture). Regularly detailed.

· Custom painted impact strips (completely blacked out)

· 19x9 - 19x10.5 Forgestar F14F black centers, polished lips (no curb rash)
· 245/35/19 - 275/30/19 Falken FK-415 tires (90%)
Major Maintenance:
· Front rotors and pads replaced at 78.5K
· Service E at 74K (well ahead of schedule)
· Engine mounts, tranny mounts, thrust arm bushings, spark plug wires replaced at 65K
· RMS and idler pulley replaced at 69K
· Fuel pump, sending units, SBC pump replaced at 72K

These pics were all taken today. As you can see, although there is a scrape on the left rear door trim, it's difficult to see unless you're standing right next to the car.

Sorry for the delay in response. No keyless go. Potential buyer fell through and then I had to leave the country for a couple of weeks. Car is still for sale and PPI has been done- car passed with flying colors. No mechanical issues, very clean car. I'll post the PPI when I can.

OP - post up that PPI report, that will generate a lot more interest. Also, maybe create a second thread in the W211 E55 forum as more people frequent there.
Also, this is an updated 05 car, correct? In other words, it has the sliding center console not the clam open? That's make it even more desirable for the right buyer.

Talking to a couple people but still for sale. Will create a post in the W211 E55 form- thanks for the heads up. This is indeed an updated 05 car and I will send out the PPI to interested buyers as it has some of my personal information on it.
