2005 e55 AMG w/ Warranty
Hello,
I am putting my 2005 e55 up for sale. I can guarantee that it is one of the cleanest anywhere, as I am very particular about my vehicles. It is silver w/ black interior. I looked at 4 different e55's before finding this one. Currently has 83,xxx miles. It is under a fully transferable bumper to bumper warranty that I purchased for an extra $3,200 when I purchased the vehicle. The warranty is good through July 2015 or 125,000 miles. Warranty has no deductible and you can take the vehicle to the dealership. I have never been one to purchase warranty's, but wanted one on this car. I did some research on warranty companies and found one with good reviews and one that would warranty this car, covering the supercharger, airmatic, etc. So far I have had the front control arms and tie rod ends replaced at the dealership to quiet a slight "knock", I could hear while turning. Most would have never even noticed the faint noise but as stated, I am very discerning when it comes to my cars. Just handed the warranty paperwork to the service manager and everything was taken care of to the tune of $1,800, no questions asked. This is a great chance to purchase a nearly flawless e55 with a warranty for peace of mind. Car is completely stock except for a flat AMG emblem on the hood that replaced the star. I still have the star and can easily be switched. I had the windows tinted as well with 15% Suntek Carbon CXP (top of the line). I paid $22,900 for the vehicle w/80,000 miles + $3,200 for the warranty (3 yr. / 45k). Also, the car needed new tires when I bought it so I put Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires on the car ($1,200), so they have less than 5k miles on them. I am looking to get $25,000 obo. Sorry - was not able to get pictures of the car up this weekend as it was raining all day Saturday and I was at the Panthers 49ers game Sun. I will try to get some pictures up this weekend for sure. Also, I am located in Greenville, SC.

Yea, if you can get close ups of each wheel, front, sides, rear, hood, interior seat shots......the usual pics. If its still available and looks as you say near flawless.....I'm interested. I will come there to look. I'd like to just have a compression check done, at my expense, at a Mercedes dealer near you, if that's cool.

GLWS but you might need to look hard at the price. Warranty aside, my mechanic here in Aiken SC just took a local doctors 05 E55 in on trade for his M6 and he gave the guy $15k. Same year as yours with lower miles and just out of an extended warranty so no issues. Now that was a great deal for the mechanic but even allowing that the car is probably worth 17 to 18k and allowing $3200 for a new warranty, your car is worth maybe 20 to 21k. Sorry, that's just the market on 10 year old, two models ago E class AMGs. Just my humble opinion.
