I am fairly convinced at this point - without ever having sat in an ML63 - that the backseat is going to prove to be adequate for only two adults -- not even three.
This may force me to consider an AMG version of the GL, or of the R to fulfill my 4wd/occasional offroad MBZ need. And I really want an ML63......
The G55 will fit three adults comfortably in the backseat. If I have G-XXL's built I can choose a 2+3+2 or 2+2+2 seating arrangement, and the seating is R-Class/S-Class quality accordingly.
But I'd really like to have an ML63.....

FInally arrived at the office. I'm going to check one of our W164 if there fit three adults in the back seat!
BTW the new G will be great. Have you seen some pics?

Thanks.
Yeah, I have great hopes that the new GL is going to be everything the ML is, only bigger and better (especially when/if the AMG version comes out). I have a bunch of pics of the GL. I do have an even greater concern with the third row seating in the GL, however, than I do with the 2nd row seating in the ML. Here are pics I have of second row GL and then third row GL -- same magazine, same guy in the pics!

Ok I checked out the back seats. If you're not such tall as the guy in the pic it's not that tragic. I am 173cm and had no probs! If you're tall and take a lot of tall people with in your car, then I'd say it's going to be a problem!

No ned to be sorry, my friend. we secretive types like to sow confusion amongst the peoples. Disinformation and Diversion are two of our favorite ploys...I just wondered how you came up with that because I listed a different day than today as my birthdate LOL

I like the look of the ml63 outside a lot - but the Gl looks good too...as well as the R... They all seem like very fun cars for a mom to drive who doesn't want a minivan... which would be me in a few years most likely...
