My Custom built Cold air intake =)

It cost around 130 dollars to put together, I can feel a gain, but, it needs a heat shield and the pipe needs thermal insulation, I had a SRT intake in there before. And that ran better, I think its due to the other intakes very thick piping. I noticed a 1mpg difference in city driving as well =)
It worked great in rain, colder weather, warm waether - but once the weather got hot 85+ - it actually was slower than stock. I had trouble climbing some hills around here, hills that it would fly up in colder weather.

Matt looks good but why did you point it up against the wall there? I think you would have better luck pointing it towards the location where the stock air inlet is in the front. I dont think that second hole allows as much air through... I have also come up with a cool idea on how to get ICE COLD air in to the engine during those WARM summer days... I need to do a little more research on it but I think I have a cool little idea that may allow for 40degree or lower air to enter the engine ALL year round- Stay tuned for the fanatic tube, hehe
