For anyone interested here is the Brabus rear fin for the ML. The wheels, for those who don't mind chrome are Asanti.

Looks sharp. I like the look of the fin.
Did you order it from Brabus or where did you get it and how much?

Thanks Joporn. The local Brabus/Rentech dealer brought it in. He charged 1k canadian tax in installed and painted to match the car. Tax here is 7% + 6.5%. I think its the paint that runs the price up. Its carbon something or other (not carbon fiber).

Why would you do that to such a nice car. ASANTI ????
you should of left it stock. The stock wheels cost more than those Asantis.

Sure there are rims that cost more than what the dealerhips charges but for the price they charge you can buy a pretty nice set of aftermarkets and a few tanks of gas

I get Amg wheels for cost, as well as asantis, because my family owns a rim shop. The AMG wheels wholesale cost is much more than the cost of the Asantis.. As far as quality between the two, dont get me started

Every wheel is cheaper than the stock wheels from the MB dealers. Asanti wheels are not cheap, unless you call 2k per wheel cheap. They were custom made 3 piece wheels and are very well made and finished. I guess this poor Canuck is just too far behind the times. But I would agree- It works for me.

2k Per wheel
You payed HRE prices for Asanti
Next time you get wheels, let me know, I can get 20" Asantis for 700 a wheel for you.

We can get hosed for wheels here in Canada that is for sure. I priced out a set of 22's for my old 4Runner and a local shop wanted $7750 with rubber and I picked up the same set from CruzinCustoms for $2200us. Cost me about 800 for shipping, duty and tax.
And with our strong dollar we have even more savings when ordering from the guys down south.

The crome wouldn't work if I went to larger rims IMO but sticking with 20"s I like the proportion of tire to wheel. With 22'' it would look too much like like a boulevard cruiser. They really do dress the car up a lot. Blue Monster if you really can get me Asanti wheels like the wp201 for 700 per wheel let me know. I want a set of wheels for my wifes RDX and someting maybe for the SL too!
