Depends on if you need the space...but I love the GL550, the 21s on that I think look a lot better than the ML63 rims. The ML63 is great, but I don't think it is worth the extra money.

Very different trucks IMO. GL550 like an S550 in many ways, ML63 more like an E63 than an E550. ML63 clearly superior on all of the objective performance criteria, GL superior on comfort and ride.

If the max you need to haul around is 5 persons, then the ML63, but if you need to haul 6 or more, then the GL550.

I really wish MB would make a GL63, then my life would be so much easier.

I was hoping for a GL63 too. I can't seem to get an answer if they will actually make a GL63.

'05 ML55
My dad currently own GL550 and the interior have a feel of elegant and luxury.. I would say I would have to agree nantucketsleigh that GL550 is like S550 in many ways. BTW, My dad used to own ML55 then gave it to me on my 18th birthday last November... I had to drive used 1999 Honda Accord for a year and half before I could get ML55.. lol

The GL550 with optional AMG 21" rims looks really good, it would make a perfect truck if it had the 6.2L V8 in there.
