Need help dropping my ml55 2000

What do you mean by "suspension"? To drop the rear you will need to invest in Springs from either H&R or Eibach. Since you are going to replace the rear springs it might be a good time to also replace the rear shocks. for the rear shocks you might want to look into Bilstein (ride will get pretty harsh). For the fronts you can just adjust the torsion bar nut to lower the fronts. The shocks in the front can be replaced at anytime, but you might get a better deal when you order the front and rear shocks at the same time. Let me know if you need help. I have lowered both my 2001 and 2002 ML55 (2002 was just done recently).

Lowering a 63 would be a whole different process. On the ML63 is the suspension airmatic?? If it is then you can purchase some adjustable links from (Adjustable Air Ride) and replace the links (I think). I just lowered a 2007 S550 and this was the method that we used, so if Mercedes did the the same suspension setup on the ML63, which I think that they would because the Airmatic suspension on a 2006 E500 was almost the same as the S550 (where the links where located) then it should be pretty simple. We lowered the S550 in about an hour.

sorry it took so long to respond, I've been pretty busy. Here are some pics of when I was selling the 2001. https://mbworld.org/forums/m-class-w...ml55-sale.html . for the springs there are two different types 1) Flat top 2) round top. You need to make sure that you get the right one. The best way to check is to jack the rear end up and check the top of the springs. It will be a little hard since it is being pressed against the spring pads. But if you run your fingers along the top of springs to where the spring ends, you can tell if they are round or flat by the way it sits against the spring pad. For the part numbers I do not remember you're going to just have to google it. I can give you pointers on install if you need help though.
