According to a recent report, Mercedes has ended production of the ML63 AMG.
While this is sad news, it isn't too surprising. A redesigned ML-Class will be unveiled later this year and Mercedes is likely winding down production of the current model.
However, if you're still depressed, rest assured as our spy photographers have already caught the 2012 ML63 AMG on the Nurburgring. As we have previously reported, the uber crossover is expected to adopt the new 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 544 PS (400 kW / 537 hp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. This should enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than five seconds and hit a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph

Fortunately that appears not to be the case. The ML63 will live on for the full model year 2011 - which is great because I love the styling of this classic monster SUV . . .
