I think our MLs would look so much better if the roof racks were removed.

Does anyone know how to remove these? I can't find any instructions.

Or does anyone have any pics of an ML63 with them removed?

Not sure how to do it on the Merz but in my old Audi wagon a few people tried deleting the racks and the only way was to remove headliner and get at the bolts from underneath. Not the easiest job if you can imagine. Just a thought, might be similar with the ML

Yes, correct. With the W164, the roof lining has to be removed.

i actually like my roof rack. i think it adds a bit of character when i have my snowboard rack and bike rack on there. Although i hate the wind noise it makes.

Agree. The W164 in AMG trim looks really slick. The roof rack gives it some roughness that IMO differentiates it from sedas.
