Stop Vehicle Problem
Hello
I am driving ML 400 Model 2015, W166 engine, Full Option.... since few days I am facing Stop Vehicle message and once the steering power and dash board has been shut down, I changed the battery and Dinamo charger
but its still coming, I need an urgent advice

wrong forum but did you change auxiliary battery too? Or just main?

That^ but is the battery replaced new and not defective? Trickle charge it to full first or drive the vehicle without ever stopping for at least an hour to help charge the battery.

Its new, I took the car for drive, not for 1 hr to be honest, but even after distance and around 25 mins drive it still showing the same issue

That is insufficient, you need to drive it for at least an hour or so to charge a battery, especially if it was completely drained. A bad battery (even when new, as in defective) could still cause the issue, check that aux battery as well.

Since you mentioned you only drove it for 25 minutes, that might had further drained the battery, given the starter cranking uses quite a bit of charge of the battery. So the chances of it draining further than before you drove it, is high.

I recommend charging the battery separately using a trickle charger instead now, instead of stressing the alternator.

as per mechanic, he mentioned shock between wires was there, but even I did not beleive, he also changed the Aux. Battery but even now, the Eco system is not working since yesterday,

Aux battery is usually the cause to a failing start/stop alongside 12V starter battery, so fair to say the issue is fixed now? or I understood you incorrectly. If so, please correct me.
