Custom Blown Fiberglass Subwoofer Box for 2003+ E Class
I was never impressed with the Harmon-Kardon subwoofer/system in my E500, so I upgraded mine.
I had an awesome installer make me a custom blown fiberglass box that sits right into the port on the right side of the trunk, taking less than 10% of the space. I had installed a JL 10W3 (10" subwoofer), and an Alpine 150 watt amp I guess where the Nav system typically would be.
It obviously was custom, and will not fit in my new Lexus. The box alone cost me $450 only 18 months ago, and still looks brand new. I'll let it go for $250 shipped.
I do not know the exact volume of the box, but was told that it is just over the recommended settings for JL to allow a little more air space. It is not a ported box, and was stuffed with polyfill when I removed the sub before selling.
Please let me know if you're interested.
Nick

The amp, an Alpine PDX-2.150 is not included. It is a current model, and sells for $450. I would sell it for $300, and again, it too is only 18 months old.
The subwoofer, a JL 10W3v3, is not included. It too is a current model, and sells for $240. It is only 12 months old (I had an old one in before), and I would let it go for $175.
That would bring the total to $725, and I'll ship the amp/sub for free. I may even have the original boxes/manuals in my basement as well.
Just let me know if you have any other questions.

Sorry in advance if this is confusing, but I thought this may be the easiest way:
1- 16.75in (vertically)
2- 10.25in (sorry there are two of them)
3- 7.25in (length of the curve)
4- 12in
5- 16.75in
6- 31in
7- 11in height
8- 15in height at the low point
9- 16in height at the high point
Let me know if you have any other questions!
