T30 IBM laptop for Star

T30 IBM laptop for Star

Used this with my C4 Compact. Selling as I bought another T30 that is like new and fully loaded with everything which ended up being cheaper vs upgrading this one so I'm selling this one.

So here is the skinny, I believe in 100% disclosure.

Laptop does work and works fine. But...

Palm rest has a small crack on the left side. Shipping issue. Does not seem to effect anything. Crack is level, no holes.

LCD bezel has a small crack on it. Left side.

Screen itself is fine except for a small -very small 1/4 'glow' on the left side of the screen. Not bad. Yep, left side.

Lid closes and locks fine. CD/DVD work. Has wireless.

Keyboard works fine. Power sticking sticky at times. Probably needs a good cleaning.

Powers up, comes with a clean hard drive and clean XP Pro installation.

Again, if your going to use this for Star-perfect. Serial port works great, Star works great. There is no Star/DAS on the hard drive as I have a separate drive for the Star.

Now I know you want to see pics and I will provide those in coming days, just incredibly busy till Friday , but will get them up.

1.86ghz, upgradable to 2.5ghz
14 inch screen
CDRW/DVD Drive
40 GB Hard Drive
512 MB RAM, upgradable to 2gb
Original IBM Power Adapter and cord
Battery -BAD, perhaps get 2 minutes out of it.
1024 x 768 Screen Resolution
No Passwords

Not like I am buying this but how long does that battery hold? I have same laptop and been through 2 batteries. They all suck!

I actually work in sylmar which is between the 14 and 118 transition (roxford exit on the 5). I can meet you in between there at 11 if that works but I have meetings from 12-4. Let me know and I can send you more details or if you prefer I call you, I'd be happy to do that.
