Late January production start. Looks like price will be $56,990.

ML550 appearance
The primary difference is it comes with the AMG body kit that includes a different front and rear bumper cover/valance and gets the running boards. Also, it has AMG 5-spoke wheels instead of twin 5-spoke. On the inside, leather is standard.

So, unless I'm missing something, for $4,835 you get the AMG styling & wheels and V8 (+ 100 hp & 235 lbs.). Not bad if you want everything in the package. Personally, I'd rather have the Dynamica seats and Sport Interior rather than leather and burled walnut (doubt if you'll get money back for that selection!). Running boards are take them or leave them. The body parts and wheels are very nice.

Sounds too cheap. My ml retailed for 59K. With P2 running boards, panorama, wood steering wheel ( highly recommended!), lane assist/blind package, running boards.
So a 550 will be cheaper with some of this stuff already included?

ML350 price - ($49,865)

You are correct, I am missing something. I misread the chart. Burl walnut trim is standard in lieu of eucalyptus. Since the AMG package has not been announced, we don't know if it will be available as an orderable option on all models, or if so, its price. So the difference is $6,445 for the V8 + AMG styling.
