Hello MBWORLD I am a new member just learning the ropes. Yesterday I purchased my first pre 90's MB. I was lucky or unlucky enough to find a 1986 SL560 signal red in very nice shape. I got a crash course today on how rare it is to find someone to work on these cars in my area so it looks like I will be on here a lot. Very excited about joining what seems to be a great community.
Hi all,so I from Australia,and I just bought my first MB,its only a CLK200 2005,but already I absolutely love it,and as I always do when getting a car I like,so starts the addiction of mods etc 😂.
It came with some very nice things done to it,and 8ll add some photos,such as red stitxhing around the seats,steering wheel,carbon fibre bootlid,carbon cover on all internal accessory surrounds Refract exhaust,and a few other,I read the mod list that was written up in another thread with order etc,and will def be taking a closer look,and going the Kong strut,rather than coil overs,and the ecu remap,but I'd like to get some wheels asap,as its just sitting on 16s atm,and I think a nice set of rims would definitely set it off!
so my question is,should I go straight to 18"s or will that wreck the ride..therefore,go only to 17"s?
Thank you for any responses in advance,and I'm sure while I forego this journey I'll become a regular "pest" with all my questions😉

~13 years later, this is my new account as a first-time mb owner. picked up a 2018 glc300 4matic under warranty about 1.5 months ago. i've done a few updates since as seen in the pic below. more on the build here.
Hi guys, Wondering if anyone has experienced a clunk sound on a 2016 cla45, on cold start when going from P to D? When it occurs, the car doesn’t move forward straight away. It takes a few seconds and when it does, it makes the clunk sound. Almost like it has to click into D properly. Anyone had similar issue?
