Welcome New Members
I just picked up my first Mercedes, It's a 2019 glc63s.
This thing is a monster!
I'm looking forward to gaining some knowledge from experienced members here.

Cheers
My wife bought an SLK350 last March and I just picked up a 2019 CPO A220 on Sunday....was not even looking but the service received from my local dealer was so good when dealing with my wife, it was a no-brainer.
I do have a question now though...the NAV button does nothing on the vehicle as it's registered to the previous owner. I'm getting this corrected tomorrow but does that mean I have to pay a subscription?....does anyone know the annual costs?
Many thanks.
Another newbie to the forum, and a newbie to Mercedes. I've always loved Mercedes from afar but went other routes; JCWs and American muscle.
After becoming disenchanted with the ordering process with the new Ford Bronco release I canceled an early order in January and went on the hunt for a new car option.
Starting fresh I made the decision not to pursue a truck/suv and focus on cars that are exciting to drive. I circled the usual suspects—Audi/BMW/Lexus/Tesla and Mercedes.
This meant other than Lexus I had to find used versions to test drive. Luckily my local dealer had a low milage A35 that I spent some time driving and exploring. I really considered buying that car but in the end, I placed an order for a 22 CLA35 in late January and grabbed the third week of May allotment for my dealer.
My CLA35 order was sitting right at 59K American—without the Burmester upgrade (not available on the 35 currently). Music is very important to me, I've been collecting vinyl since I was a teen, played and toured in a band, and I want a little kick to the sound system. After getting a few quotes to beef up the base mid-line stereo — I was looking at a minimum of another 4K investment, more like 6K to replace speakers, amps, and add a DSP.
With some reflection—the reality I faced is I'm building a CLA35 that will cost more about as much as a CLA45.
Last week I sat down with my salesperson and the dealership GM and we built a CLA45 (total cost of $66,400) and they were able to convert their CLA 45 allotment for May.
Now comes the waiting game—my dealer is saying two-three months for build and shipping to the US. I'm excited to follow along with others that also have new orders.

My name is Mark Willard, I currently reside in Seattle, and I have two Mercedes-Benz'.
The first one is an off-yellow 1984 300D named Madeline, with about 171k miles on it.
The second one is a teal on blue 1991 300e (name TBD, either Johanna or Victoria), with approx. 87k on it.
I purchased Madeline in 2020 when she had just under 160k miles on the clock. She had an accident history, but all the repairs seemed to be done to spec and there was no frame damage.
The purchase price was fair and I have since put a few thousand into odds and ends like brakes, brake lines, fluid flushes, valve adjustments, new hoses, etc.
A few months ago I loaned Madeline to my nephew (featured below) due to his 97' E320's headgasket finally calling it quits around 230k miles. We ended up purchasing him an 01' E430 that appears to be in good working order.
While borrowing the 300D, my nephew accidently overfilled the oil by 2 quarts or so and drove it for a few thousand miles. Consequently, virtually all the gaskets had sprung a leak by the time she was returned to me (cardboard also featured below).
It appears that no extensive damage was done to the core (still have yet to do a compression test), but she is on standby for the foreseeable future.
Coincidentally, my mechanic called me a day after putting Madeline in storage letting me know of an estate find he had cleaned up and offered to sell it to me. Just like Madeline she had an accident history but nothing substantial.
I jumped at the offer given the condition and mileage. The 300E isn't without issues, but she seems well worth the investment.
I appreciate you all welcoming us into your community, and I look forward to future discussions.

For a brief moment, I thought I saw some 'rust' in the lower front bumper area (300D) but then I recognized those are reflection of the lawn grass off the chrome...lol

Im from switzerland and share these pictures of my w204 c63 p31 with you guys. The BBS wheels are brand new and look great on that car.
On MB world in another forum thread I would like to find out whether the rear fender of my car can be rolled/pulled in such a way that my rim is flush.
Have a good day
Thank you in advance!

My name is Jose from Miami, Florida. I just received my new E350 2022 on April 4th after ordered last December. Love the car
It came with some very nice things done to it,and 8ll add some photos, such as red stitxhing around the seats, steering wheel, carbon fibre bootlid, carbon cover on all internal accessory surrounds Refract exhaust, and a few other,I read the mod list that was written up in another thread with order etc,and will def be taking a closer look, and going the Kong strut, rather than coil overs, and the ecu remap, but I'd like to get some wheels asap,as its just sitting on 16s atm,and I think a nice set of rims would definitely set it off!
so my question is,should I go straight to 18"s or will that wreck the ride..therefore,go only to 17"s?
Thank you for any responses in advance, and I'm sure while I forego this journey I'll become a regular "pest" with all my questions😉
Michael
