Welcome New Members

Been lurking on the forums for a bit, going on 8 months of ownership with 2023 C63s FE (First Benz). Was looking into posting on marketplace forums as I'm in search of some OEM wheels (new or lightly used) but I do not have access.. Do I have to get verified or authorized by admin?

Going to be doing some chrome-deleting soon, looking for OEM 19/20" twin 5-spoke wheels in black.
I think you need at least 3 posts before access to marketplace is granted.

I have a couple of other cars too, but my focus near term is putting the Benz back on the road.

This is a pic of the 190 as sent to me by my best friend who sold it to me. It was his mother's and it lived in South Carolina. It had, and still has, about 35000 miles. The dash was cracked and his dad put one of those black covers on it. The car has been in dry storage for about 12 years, and I am getting ready to put it back on the road. It is rust free. If anyone has any advise, things to do or not to do in this process please let me know.

I am Karl, bought an S580 for my wife about a year ago and we love it. All the bells and whistles are a bit complicated, but it drives like a dream. Really love the automatic side bolsters that hold you in when you take a corner.
We got a matte white, but wish that matte blue were available in that line.
Take care!

one question that I have that is more of a general question: is there any DIY people in the Spokane area who have or have access to the Star/Xentry tools? I have a few things that are going to require some computer work and I have a hard time paying MB $200/hr for something that is a couple of mouse clicks.
again, thanks for having me here and I look forward to the future with MB products
