intro
Hey all, car addict, have had a handful of MBZ, current daily driver is Genesis Sedan, weekend warrior Audi s5 Sportback and just picked up a super clean 2003 CL500, 50k miles. I own a sports tape company and rim shop in Irvine, CA. Have 22" blaquediamonds on the Genesis, 20" ADV.1 on Audi and probably going with some 20" Lowenharts on the CL..

2014 C63 AMG
Hello! I'm Avi and I just bought my first MB, a 2014 C63. I've been driving Toyota pickups for the last 20 years, and traded in my '17 4Runner for the C63. Needless to say, the difference in driving experience is amazing! I'm looking forward to driving and learning more about this amazing car.

Back in the game
Hello All, It's been too long since I've been on here. I'm back in the game with a 2008 S63 AMG. My 2nd AMG 5th S Class. Feel free to hit me up. I will ask questions from time to time and make comments. I'm getting it back in shape with a full blown service. Brakes and rotors included. I'm looking to chip tune the 156 engine. Any suggestions or comments are welcomed. As its always been said AMG= All Money Game!!

For attention, post it in a proper thread (and, as a general remark - don’t fix things that ain’t broken (just kidding, my own fingers never can resist the unknown)).

New to the forum. I own a (now wrecked) 18' c63s Coupe
Hello everyone,
This is my first AMG and my second MB, which was a 1998 E430, bought in 2000. In February 18' I bought a new 18' c63s coupe. In fact this forum helped with the decision to get this car. The c63s is/was my girlfriends daily and we both absolutely love it.. er, loved it... In late June, with 1600 miles on the AMG, my girlfriend was rear ended by a woman in a Hyundai who was texting and driving (allegedly).
After a month of ''discussions'' with my insurance, they decided Not to total the car even though the damage total is $40k +. The Hyundai driver was very under insured so they are no help. Now, almost 60 days later my AMG is still in the shop and repairs have NOT begun due to parts availability or lack thereof. They are estimating 3 to 5+ months from now since some parts don't even have an ETA! As I said, I love the AMG, but I'm not sure I would have chosen this car if I had known replacement parts were so difficult to get (I was thiiiis close to buying an M4 instead- hope those aren't fighting words). My rental was only covered for 30 days and without taking a (even bigger) loss, I cant sell or trade in my car until it's repaired. I just figured I would tell my story.. Maybe someone else who is on the fence about buying an AMG will see this.
I'll post some updates as they come.
*All occupants were not seriously injured.
Thanks
The way she was
Ouch!
Double ouch!!
Also bumped the car in front of the AMG
Don't text and drive! (allegedly)

THAT hurts! Unbelievable ETA for those parts. No brand should allow itself to be so awkwardly slack. I wonder if ordening parts in Germany would speed things up. Wouldn’t mind asking a German dealer for you.

Yes, I would really appreciate if you could check with a German dealer.. I talked to my body shop again today, the one part I have not been able to locate is the rear bumper. It's on back order without an availability date.
