2013 C204 C250 Coupe
Phillip here in California near Santa Cruz. Ten years ago I got a very nice 1998 SL500. It has been great and still only has 58 K miles (47K when I got it). However my ancient knees and hip are worn out making it painful to get in the low SL500. So I recently snagged a 2015 S550 in very good shape with only 56K miles. Nice to have all the features and much easier to get in and out with bum joints. I will sell the SL. Anyhow I have been on the benzworld forum since getting the SL and decided to check out this forum as well.

Thanks. I am enjoying the S550 with all its features. Hate to see the SL500 go but have limited garage space and could not see leaving it outdoors.

Hi there, just realised I never checked in.
I recently purchased a R230 SL500 2003 model year . The car has not been used very much since 2016 and requires some TLC. To be fair I was not on the ball at all during the purchase . I had just come out of hospital and needed an auto. Having said that I was definitely misled and lied to. But hey ho.
I come from a Porsche background and currently still have a 2000 996
Looking forward to enjoying my new purchase, driving as well as fettling and will probably asking many many questions
I'm based near Aberaeron in West Wales having move up from Cornwall 7 years ago

Newbie from SF Bay Area
Hello All, I am Ryan, and currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I was gifted a 2000 ML320 from my grandfather a little over a year ago. I have been using this forum to help troubleshoot some if the issues the car has had and fix it little by little. Love the car so far, and is great to keep it in the family as it holds sentimental value being my late grandmother's car.

Thanks a lot! Fine condition is right! Lol. My wife thought it was a 2013 or 14 model. She nearly gasped when told her it was 20 years old. But she's an amazing wife and backed my decision 100%.

New eyes on an old Merc
Greetings and salutations from Massachusetts!
Old fart here just bought his first (new to me) 2012 W212 E350, and after a lifetime of domestics... I finally get one, and I finally get it. Wow.
It's used, it's got 163k on the odo, but it still pulls like a freight train with a full head of steam. Oh my!
I'm currently taking night classes to understand all of the controls but I'm sure that the NASA trained teachers aid will help me with the phone as soon as i master the radio. That being said, I simply cannot say enough good things about this lovely car. Yes I'm still in my honeymoon phase, I'm sure my first repair bill will have me threatening the car with divorce papers. But right now I'm in love. Thank you all. Have a great day!
Side note to the MB engineers. Great job. Except for one thing. You put the cruise control right where you shouldn't have. I hate you. For the fourth time I tried turning left only to activate cruise and have such massive deceleration I nearly sharted myself. Once for the massive collision I thought I was in, and twice for massive repair bill I thought I was going to receive.
Really? REALLY??? Of all the places.. You pick there.
Just know you are NOT invited to the cook out.
Sincerely Mercwithasmirk.
