2007 E 63 AMG Black on black, 2004 Screaming Yellow Mach 1 Mustang & a '96 Tacoma pickup partschaser
Joined a few months back

Picked up a 2007 E 63 AMG, just hit 40,000 miles. Beautiful condition, just some curbage and clearcoat spidering on the rims. Just put on Goodyear Eagle F-1 all season tires. 245/ZR40/18s in front and 275/ZR35/18s for the back. Had the rims refinished also. Welcome New Members-00k0k_liiom7hqfvh_600x450.jpg

2006 SLK55 AMG
Thumbs up

After researching here and elsewhere I purchased a 2006 SLK55 AMG two weeks ago. Just dropping a quick note to say 'thanks' to the administrators and moderators for making this possible.

1998 S500
Another newb

Greeting and salutations from Kansas City, MON (Middle of Nowhere).
Harley mechanic by trade, starting on a journey, and hope to be guided along this path by those who have "been there, done that". New to me is a 1998 S500, 163,xxx miles complete with unyielding ASR and Check Engine lights, and a bunny style rear suspension. Hop, hop, hop over any little undulation in the road. Signed up for the EPC site, and reading everything I can, before digging in and attempting diag & repairs. Thanks for letting me tag along

1998 Mercedes Benz S500
Another new member

Hey guys.

First time joining in but have used these forums for troubleshooting almost all of my problems. Just upgraded from a w124 E320 to a 98 S500. As usuall car needs a bit of work but its in pretty good condition.

@ r.thiem, I also bought a 1998 S500. 110K with some maintenance history. As far as the suspenstion goes, I guess you and me are in the same boat. Very stiff rear suspension.. Will be fixing the problems soon and will keep the forum updated.

2014 E350 also restored: 1969 Camaro convertible SS 1957 Chevy Belair 2dr hardtop
Hi my name is John. I bought my first new 2014 E350 sport in December 2013. I have had nothing but trouble from the dealership I bought the car from Motor Werks in Barrington IL. Started using this forum and found out that the dealership gave me the wrong Owner's manual and never gave me a command manual. No wonder I was having trouble trying to figure out how to use the gadgets in the car. Dealership was supposed to order the correct Manuals for me on April 4, 2014. Still waiting for them. The car itself I love I just wish I bought it from somewhere else. This forum is very helpful and so is MBUSA. Without you guys I would probably have gotten rid of the car.

2008 c300
Greetings, I'm the owner of a 2008 C300 benz with 107k miles/6 cyl 3.0. I haven't had a chance to put many miles on it yet and I discovered two issues. 1. the passenger seat will come off track if I slide it forward. 2. My CD is stuck in the in-dash changer and it says "drive unavailable". I will search the forums for these issues but I first need to know which section to look in. What model do I have? 203?

2002 E320 4Matic Wagon
Long time user, first time poster

This forum makes my mb affordable! First Benz was a 1993 300d 2.5 turbo with 250,000 miles. 2 years later, I lost the transmission with 300,000 miles. I bought a 2002 E320 4Matic Wagon. I love that car!

Weekend: 2010 SL 350 r230 Weekdays: 2018 E220d Coupe
New Member Introduction

Hi just bought a new weekend run around. An r230 2010 SL350 Roadster. It has done 22,000 miles and I'm buying from a main dealer that the car has grown up with.

It is Obsidian black metallic, with cream/sand/beige (?) leather. It has the part wooden trim steering wheel and upgraded trim. 19" alloys with some curbing scrapes that will be repaired before I collect the car next week.

Other than the rims, everything looks perfect.

These are modern classics - really beautiful.

My day to day car is a 5 series, so couldn't be more different.

Anyway - hello!

CLS63
Hello everyone,

My name is Ivan and live in Dallas, TX. I have owned for a year now a 2013 CLS63 with the performance package. It's obsidian black, carbon fiber interior on black. I absolutely love this machine and am finally getting to go to COTA next weekend for the AMG Driving Academy.

I hope to post more in the future.

Thank you all!

Ivan.

2002 C230 Kompressor
hi, im new the the forum and I have 2002 C230 Kompressor that ive had for 4 years now. I recently changed the driver side door on it and when I plugged the wires together it went into safety mode with "SRS" on the gauges.
I bought a MB Carsoft 7.4 Multiplexer to erase the "SRS" code but I end up having a problem with CARSOFT program. The software installed in the computer but the program wont start without having, and I quote "Please enter Activation code in block and click on Update Protection to activate the CARSOFT Program".
On that same page it gives me a Version No:, Serial No:, Update No:, Product Code:, and Path: but didn't have a Update Code:.
Can someone please help me with this CARSOFT problem,
Jared

C350 Sports Sedan
Welcome...Noobi here too!

Bought my first Benz last February after a short (but very nice) test drive. I must say I have been impressed with the car but very UNIMPRESSED with the dealers. I have never had a car that is so "secretive" about basic information like what fuses control which circuits, lack of installation instructions after you pay THEIR INFLATED PRICES for accessories, etc. Almost ready to sell my new 2014 C350 to go back to Acura where I could actually get INFORMATION about my car like Honda shop manuals, wiring diagrams etc. Am I missing something? Is there a good source for this information? I have been wrenching on cars for 30+ years and feel (for the first time) that the MB dealers think "the customer is always wrong" when it comes to trying to do our own maintenance or upgrades. Not a good experience. BTW I am 50 and this is my 13th new car purchase... so not talking from inexperience here.
