Greetings! I'd first like to thank Eddie of Rockville, Maryland for introducing me to this wonderful resource!! I purchased my 2005 C55 AMG this June, and have been in love with her ever since.
I am experiencing issues with her cutting off...randomly. The first time it happened I was on a trip and was testing her abilities...I got her to 100mph and it just shut off (that was early July). Here recently it appears to be happening more often and she's drinking gas like crazy.
Any suggestions? I've read a few threads regarding cut off, going to trip them out before investing in dealership repair shop!

Hi I'm Gregg from Cypress, tx Just bought my first MB. 2008 E320 Bluetec. 58k miles. Absolute cherry. Looks brand new one owner maintained at MB. So far I love this car. Mileage is about 28mpg so far and the car is a rocket. I would eventually like to upgrade the stereo to the new touch screen. It has the nav package with the Harmon Kardon sound system but 2008 tech is way behind now. The nav is so complex it's almost useless compared to just using my phone. Any suggestions? Look forward to owning this vehicle. Anyone else have this vehicle and give tips? Thanks.

Hello everyone. My name's Natalie & I'm a proud new owner of a 2015 C350 Coupe. I live in Germany and was able to pick up my car from the factory! It is a dream to drive on the autobahn and also on the curvy back roads. Looking forward to learning more from all of you.
Bought my 2011 C300 -- black-on-black, used, off-lease with 24K miles on it -- about a year ago and am very happy with it. Surprised (read: super pleased) by all the compliments I get about how good looking it is. I've only put about 7k miles on it as winter was very rough and I have a truly off-road-worthy Land Cruiser for that kind of thing, so hopefully my MB will have a long life.
Live outside Philadelphia, Pa. and found MBWorld when researching performance and style upgrades. Great site, and very helpful. Enjoy the ride!

The local Benz dealer has made me me feel bad about buying the car but it so nice and runs very well. Hoping this will be a great experience!

Hi all, my name is Justin and I live in Los Angeles, California. I daily drove an '89 500SL back in the 90s but had to sell it because of maintenance costs. I also leased a previous-gen ML350 a couple of years back but the trouble I had with it made me reluctant to join the Mercedes family again. However I'm looking to buy an old S-Class for my parents who are now in their 70s. They are still somewhat stuck in the late 80s/early 90s. Because of this, I was looking at a W126 420SEL and a W140 S 500 but couldn't decide between them. My parents are unable/unwilling to drive anymore because of the cost and safety risks, so the car will mostly be used as a lawn ornament in the garage. Maintenance costs are therefore irrelevant, so as long as the vehicle looks the part and fits their image, it will be fine. Any recommendations please?

In 2012 I bought a 1997 e420 for a terrific price about 3 days after I totaled my 1999 Volvo S70. I wanted safety, comfort, beauty, quiet, safety, good performance, safety and safety. I had enjoyed every endeavor into Euro car motoring with Saab, Volvo and Jag. Even Volkswagen...ish. I feel that American cars until recently had no soul and that Asian cars are the most reliable cars money can buy. Lastly, if a car is not safe, it is bordering on useless. If it is not also fun, it may as well be public transportation. I am also a computer geek who believes that we have tech'd cars to absurdity and without basis in many cases. Fixing what isn't broken, and change for the sake of change should be today's automotive mantra. Therefore, I will continue to keep the old cars going if it means I need to start my own machine shop.
