Hi. I'm Amy from Ohio. Picked up our E350 yesterday. Excited to explore it but it is pouring down rain with hail coming so I will wait for now! Have driven 2 BMW 5 series for many years. Husband owned a 190E when we met many years ago. Very excited about my new car!

I am the Zeppelini... named after my first MB, a 1976 300se if I am right. It was a workhorse which I only possessed for a year when living in Netherlands. Due to unfriendly taxes and a recession I had to part with it. Now in another continent I found a 1999 s320 in reasonable condition. Plan is to see how much renovation it needs and do as much as possible of that myself. A new Car of any kind I see as nonsense. Old ones of the right kind will serve most likely better...
I also was proud owner of Citroen CX turbo diesel (1987) Citroen BX, Citroen Xantia Diesel when still in Europe, here in USA I owned a Cadillac Deville, several Hoopties of forgettable nature, with exception of a Honda Accord and a ramshackled Toyota Corolla which just did NOT want to die... For now we use a Ford windstar 1996, a chevy lumina and Cavalier for the kids. The mercedes is just to have something nice to travel distance...

Reason: I am quite forgetful!

Have a 2009 CLS 550. Getting rid of it (balance shaft issues downrange). Upgrading to AMG and may go with a 2006 CLS 55 AMG since the Extended Vehicle Protection (EVP) for four years is only $1200 versus $5300 if I get a CLS 63 AMG. Welcome comments.
Hi I am Tom. I bought a 1991 Mercedes 300E back in March of 1996 with 69,000 miles on it. Thought it would be fun to drive for a few years and now after 19 years we still have it and still love it. It is sad but the new ones just do not match up to this gold standard. We have driven a number of subsequent model years and just keep going back to our beloved 300. She now has 235,000 miles on her and never needed any engine or transmission work done. Now that I am retired I would like to spend some time taking care of the car myself and hope this forum will be beneficial in doing so.
My name is Michael and I live in San Diego. I have a white 2006 C230. I DEFINITELY got my inspiration and knowledge from the AWESOME MBZ owners on this forum and others...
I wanted to show the result of my 1 day project to customize my car, all I have to do is paint the calipers red, finish the carbon fiber overlay on the interior and I'm done!!
I want to give a HUGE shout out to all the visionaries on here that shared their knowledge, techniques and tips to help me make it happen, this forum ROCKS!
Check out my baby!
I wouldn't have known how to do this if it weren't for the guys on this forum and others...I stand on the shoulders of giants...

Plasti-Dip wheels with Matte Black Center Caps..
You can find them online, just Google em..they have some in Carbon Fiber too...
Not too much, just in all the right places! I took the grill off and Plasti-Dipped it, it wasn't hard to take off at ALL!!...The hood vent was the challenge...I tried to take to take it off under the hood, but it was housed in a metal casing...the older model had a plastic cowling with tabs ...at any rate I did it by putting index cards all around it (the bigger size to cover more space) and the spray was contained to that area and the overspray was nil...
All that's left is to paint the caliper red, and I'm in BUSINESS!!!
The beginning of the Carbon Fiber interior...started with the steering wheel...doors and center console next...

Hey, I'm Demi from Australia.. I've been driving the 2004 CLK 500 convertible for about 2 years now but it's been in the family since 2005 when my mum bought it.. It was pretty stock when I bought it off her. So far I've added a few cosmetic additions, such as: 19" vossen cv3 wheels (currently looking at changing to some benz ones) twin AMG tips, exhaust - electronic cutout, AMG front bumper, carbon fibre diffuser, carbon fibre boot lip (purchasing a front lip soon & carbon fibre side vents for the front bumper) would still like to lower her bum a little bit but the roads I usually drive on are terrible! The car has never been in an accident however she has over 16k worth of hail damage so MBQ will be replacing all panels and roof that were affected.. In about a month I will have a brand new car on the exterior!! 😍
I love Mercs.. All of them, young & old, I only have one passion in life and that is this brand.. I love them that much that when I walk into a mercedes dealership I have heart palpitations 😁

Hi,
I'm Richard from France.
Just bought an S600L-W140.
Nice car.
It was first sold in Japan, then brought back to the Netherlands in 2009 with only 14000 kilometers.
And I bought it 2 months ago. 87000kms on the clock.
I am having some issues and solving them.
I will post in the right section with a question on catalytics.
