Hello, from Utah
This isn't my first time on the forum, but it is the first time as a member. I joined because this a great community to get help, share information and also get to know other Benz drivers. My name is Cori, I am a guy with a girls name haha, a bit lame but its alright. I live in Roy Utah with my wife.
Currently I am driving a 2003 Mercedes-Benz C230K, I do have a 92 Acura Integra as well but never drive it. I am 27 years old and have had around 24 different cars, between flipping and selling them, to just receiving them as gifts or in exchange for work I've done. By far the C230 is my favorite and my old RX-7 is a close second.
I have attended a university and studied programming and electrical engineering. I started attending college at the age of 12, I only remember that because I was in the 8th grade. I am a member of Mensa but never go to the meetings, because they are pretty weird people haha.
I am autistic, so I don't understand social queues, sarcasm, and don't really know when to stop ranting or when a conversation is over.
Hope to talk to you all soon!!

I surprised my wife at school and gave her some food and what not on Aug 18th. She asked if she could drive the Mercedes home, I said sure but we decided she could drive it later sense she had not driven it yet.
So we get home and we both leave on a highly drive. I am driving and I pulled over asking her if she would like to drive. We change places and she takes off. We come to a stoplight on 24th and Washington Blvd facing East and we are going to make a left hand turn. Light turns green, she starts going. I remember her saying "Oh S***" or something to that effect, I looked over and a 2008 Dodge Ram is coming about 50MPH and is about 8-12 inches from the door. I closed my eyes and woke up about 2 minutes later with some guy holding my hand stating help is on the way. I lost consciousness due to hitting something, no idea on what it was.
My wife had to be cut out of the car. I was able to get out, but I was unable to open my eyes. Somehow when the truck hit us, my glasses flew off and glass from the shattered window had made its way into my eye. We both get transported to the hospital by ambulance and my wife has 3 bulging discs in her back and a torn rotator cuff. I just sustained fractured ribs and had to have a minor operation to have the glass removed from my eye, which I was awake the entire time they did it!! Glad I was driving the Mercedes and not my Integra, I actually traded the car for a Retina Macbook Pro because I never wanted to drive it again after knowing the same accident would have killed us.
After leaving the hospital I was informed by the police he was in a company truck and admitted to falling asleep behind the wheel. He was given a citation at the scene of the accident.
Here are some pics of the aftermath
So I had her for exactly 4 days before she died. I was able to get a new C230 afterward.
I now drive a 2002 C230 with 82,000 Miles, which is 30K less then my old car.
