Hello,

I'm from Portugal and I currently drive a 2010 w204 estate.

I've just recently found this community and it has already helped me solving some issues with my satnav that wasn't working. Thanks to some helpful intel on these pages I managed to replace my hard-drive with a used one and get it to work again for roughly 100 € (dealer quoted me 500 € + tax )

Now I got myself into some new project. I'l already order everything to install a reversing camera. I was just looking for some guidelines from someone who knows how to remove the trunk lining in a estate. Found plenty of sedans in the forum but no estate...

Great to be here.

Thanks

Welcome to MBWorld. You unfortunately won't find much because this is still primarily a US based forum and estate w204s were not offered here. I'd imagine everything to be mostly clips though or pressure held. If you can take some pics of the inner trunk lid, we can see if we can help you out.

Here are some pics.

general view...

There are no visible clips. Only one bolt...

that plastic part on the top I believe it's fixed...

I think this part is similar to the sedan...

No visible clips also... I think I got to yank the white plastic off and then maybe slide the liner or something...

Thanks

Can you press in along the sides to find where the trim gives in a bit more than others points? That might help indicate where the clip position is. I'd first start off with that bolt which seems like an obvious step 1. If you have a good relationship with your SA at the dealership, sometimes they'd be willing to look up disassemble guide for you and steer you in the right direction.

Thanks.

When I'm finished with the mod, I'll post the DIY to help other europe members with estates.
