Just wanted to say hi. I joined this board as I'm currently mulling around the idea of picking up a W211 E55 or E63. I'm a bit new to Mercedes and European cars for that matter. I currently drive an E39 530i M Sport and feel that I need some more power. I've always liked the W211 and I think it might be a good fit. I'll be lurking and soaking up as much info as I can.

Really looking forward to the search. It's been a few years since driving a car with some power. Coming from the world of Supras and 2JZ's, I think I'll have some fun with this. The E class has always stood out to me. Just hope I don't get flamed for some of my choices.

You will always get flamed no matter what your decision is. I'm still getting flamed for selling my shelby. Yes i do miss the power but gas mileage was way too terrible for me.
