Hi my name is Charles from Louisiana. i am new to owning a Mercedes Benz but I know a lot about them since i do subcontracting work for my local dealership. I am going to purchase a 2009 C63 AMG on Monday. It has a Renntech tune on it and I am pretty excited to drive it. This will be a big step for me since I was driving a 05 Acura TL. I hope to learn a lot of things from this forum Thank you!
Also I am a high-end automotive detailer and I am looking forward to giving my knowledge on detailing to the forum.

Let me know if we can help you upgrade some of the lighting to clean whiter LEDs/HIDs. We have an in house w204 so are very familiar with her specs. Eyebrows, rear plates, signals, interior, etc.

Welcome to MBWorld, Charles! Would love to see some pictures! Got any great detailing tricks in regards to the best type of paint sealant/protection method? I also have some oxidization going on due to the suns rays here in Cali on a painted body plastic component. Any tips on getting rid or helping with protecting it without using a polisher?

There are many sealants that I use that are pretty good such as a spray sealant like Carpro Reload or Menzerna Powerlock, Blackfire Wetdiamond. Which painted body part is getting oxidized? typically i use a Rupes Polisher but you can also hand polish it as well.

I remember. Your airport is tiny! I flew back out to Washington out of baton rouge cause the New Orleans airport was in shambles.

I'm no good with a handheld polisher machine (due to being scared to burn the paint), so that's why I was curious if there was anything out there that would take care of the oxidization that I could do myself. It's a non-MB vehicle, but the spoiler of it is made of plastic and the sun here in Cali is beginning to oxidize the top left of it.
